There are times to use formal Assessment tools as part of Executive Coaching – tools that keep you as the central focus and give you a better understanding of your behavioral profile, probable personality traits, and the conditions most conducive to your success. No assessment is a test. You cannot pass or fail. Joe Vranich evaluates assessment findings in relation to an individual's style of communications. The instruments are designed to help you in self-reflection and suggest ways to capitalize on your strengths and preferences. While no one is expected to take an assessment, some organizations may require one as part of the engagement.

The Coach's Certifications.
Joe Vranich is certified in the OSI Polaris^® Competency Model and Leadership 360 Survey, which includes how to analyze and make performance recommendations based on a comprehensive report. He is a Certified Trainer in the DiSC Personal Profile System that enables clients to capitalize on behavioral strengths, anticipate and minimize conflicts with others, and identify environments most conducive to success. Enriched communications skills can result from either assessment, which is why major companies like The Walt Disney Company, Nike, Hallmark and Sheraton Hotels use the Polaris 360, and IBM, Hewlett-Packard and many others utilize the DiSC.

Occasionally a client wants a particular assessment to be used. Joe also has worked with the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator^©, The Birkman Method^®, MAPP^TM (Motivational Appraisal of Personal Potential), Keirsey Temperament Sorter^TM and Campbell^TM Interest and Skill Survey.
